As we saw with the Berrada appointment when even people high up at the club didn't know it was happening until it happened...Ineos aren't briefing anybody outside of the six. It's driving the media crazy because they aren't getting the usual leaks from the club. But, for sure, Ineos have been sounding out other managers and when you do that it's impossible to keep a lid on everything because you have the same third parties, agents and reps, talking to other clubs.
