Manifest dread is absolute trash, you are lucky if you get to cheat something out. You usually just end up manifesting lands. It's so slow

I don't really see people abusing manifest dread. I mean technically it is twice as consistent as manifest was but that's probably still not nearly consistent enough.

I beat someone for -10,000 damage using manifest dread by overwhelming the board with creatures, putting out an enduring vitality, and using Bristly Bill to double all the counters on my dread creatures every turn.

I for one welcome the unfair blinky morph decks. Remember we still have Blast Zone in standard... Anoint with Affliction... Serum Snare to bounce their manifests and set back their impending Overlords... Filigree Sylex (this is the good one that you can crack at instant speed) etc

It's non-trivial to get blast zone to deal with manifests, how can you get the counter off in standard?
