On sideboarding - this deck doesn't like playing too many spells because of fathomless descent. Instead of a transformational sideboard, the sideboard can be used to pick the right mix of fatties for the matchup.

jim and atraxa just dont seem to get along

i think you need to -5 yourself or -3 on jace to make sure you have everything in the yard. there were a few times when you passed on jace for one of the 2 mana cards that is card selection, while you also had either the founding of the third path or the squirming emergence online. Then you didnt win off of not having atraxa to return

Founding's third chapter targets, so your draw step happens then you have to put it on the stack before you get priority. You have to choose to target the Emergence as you're putting the ability on the stack. But if you'd entered full control before choosing to target Emergence, you would have had priority before the ability resolved and you had to choose a target with the Emergence copy. Not that it would have mattered, but you could have done what you wanted!

I feel this deck would be better with Valley Rotcaller, but I understand that with the bat, that's a hard ask to make room for.

I wouldnt recommend this deck in Bo1. Its just doesnt stack up well with the meta at all. Played at least 60 games with it and it was definitely sub 50%.

I remember doing deck reg for Khans sealed GP (possibly a side event). I opened 2 Wingmate Roc’s and Rhino. Complained the whole time then when it come to exchange it went one place to my left. That was a very happy man sitting next to me.

LOVE this deck! Did you consider finding room for Swarming Emergence? And did you think about adding blue for Third Path and Prankster for added self mill and graveyard recursion?
