My wife & I have made numerous visits to Reno from Atlanta after our son & his family moved there from Truckee 10 years ago. After hiking the Sierras, visits to Virginia City, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, museums, the river walk, etc., I'd begun to to wonder if there was anything left to see in the area until I found this channel. I now have a new list of places to visit. Nice work.

@gbcocean19556 ай бұрын
They have kept the 1st floor with PO Box doors and the downstairs has a lot of shops along with a wall of history pics. I've done a video of that as well, nice that they kept the Post Office feel on the 1st floor, although it is not politically correct styling from the 1930's in the reliefs. Glad they kept them as it is part of History even if the symbols were used by evil people.
@hoodatdondar2664Ай бұрын
The Swastikas were used by several native peoples in the region for a long time. In 1932, when this was built, local culture was what was meant, and all anyone would have thought. Several still use it in their weavings and jewelry. They say they were there first.
