The thing with Loki being at the center of the Universal Tree is that he can appear in any timeline without acually leaving the throne (he is an illusionist after all and can create full body solid illusions) at any point in time he needs to be in any form he wants.

It is interesting that they mention feeling it the first time that Shang-chi used them, because that implies they didn't feel them when his father used them. That raises an interesting question as to why Shang-chi has a different interaction with them or them with him.

Well, we know they glow a different color, which implies a different energy is being used or, at minimum, a different user. We have strong reasoning to believe either way. Assuming the most litteral of it just being a different user without implying any real energy source change likely means it is some form of security option. Either Shang Chi wasn't supposed to have them, and it is telling it's make that an unauthorized user has them or Shang Chi is supposed to have them. Either method requires sacred timeline focus, which we could not verify either way. Going by the first option, which is a different energy source being used, all it means is that the power we know Shang Chi was using to combat the rings initially are now being used with the rings. From there, it either goes into a similar branch of unauthorized user type of situation or a form of recharging a beakon. It really doesn't matter at this time because we have no actual context.

Recognizing the similarity between the 10 rings and other Kang technology is smart. I don't know how that relates to Loki or even how he or Kang will be involved in the Avengers stories to come. The groundwork Marvel creatives have laid is really good, but lately I'm less optimistic about how these stories will be told. Will it be the creatives they hired or the industry execs getting in their way?

I think he’s saying it related to Loki because he’s kind of the god of time now and the bands used to belong to the god of time. I believe he’s also saying that because he whole remains used to be in control of time, the beacon could’ve been him but maybe because Loli now sits upon the throne of time it’s actually him.

I do feel like the watcher, actually doing a 'drive by' of the tree, as a 'scenic' part of the multiverse to see, proves something - and that 'meddling' in multiversal affairs, while not the watchers' cup of tea - isnt something he actively tries to prevent - so I think it would be cool to see Loki do that - come back later, get a team to fight the Kangs - maybe a heated discussion with the watcher, or mentioning his name at a minimum - would also be a cool thing to do.

I don't know, of course, what the plan is. I just need to know there IS a plan. I keep asking where white vision is, what the rings are calling to, when we'll see more moon knight and scarlet scarab.. When will they follow up on ANY post credits scenes since phase 4 began? Now with Majors problem and Loki potentially changing the plans, I'm worried some of these post credits scenes may just be ignored.

Coleman Domingo is such an absolutely incredible talent that I would be so excited if he winds up being recasted as Kang...no offense to JM, but Coleman would bring such a depth and nuance to this character that it may wind up feeling like he should have always been playing him... I don't dislike the idea of a Kang connection but honestly I think they'll stick with what we know from the comics and have it be calling out to Fin Fang Foom's planet. It could be a setup for Avengers 5 but it could also just be setup for Shang Chi Wreckage of Time with Foom as either the major antagonist or an antagonistic force in the film.

They're upgrades for the Quantum Bands, turning them into the Nega Bands, which will likely be done in a "darkest hour" to defeat the Big Bad. The bangles pre/postdate the Kree, which is why Vers didn't recognize them.

Maurice P Kerry would be much better fit for Kang. Marvel knows him (he's in 2 previous marvel films) and is listed on imdb as kang. There's a couple pictures on his imdb profile that's spot on for Victor Timely too.

I don't think Kang made them but they were made by one of the other cosmic entity's like Eon. Each entity would have made a device for a champion to represent them to deal with something at the beginning of time maybe the very first Secret War. At the present time of the MCU though I can agree that a Kang variant is manipulating these devices to weaken the multiverse. The 10 ring tease is just a event that Wen Wu experienced in his past and it's not a tease for anything deeper.

Ive been predicting that the Ten Rings are actually celestial tech, either belonging to one of the Eternals (created by Phastos) or left their for Tiamut for when he would be born, to wield as his weapon just like the giant hammer and so forth. I don't think it has anything to do with Loki. Especially given the markings look very much like the Celestial markings all over the eternals film.

I think Strange's magic is dimensional. So the rings' energy is coming from somewhere. Perhaps the negative zone or quantum realm. There's licherally no way to know yet and I think that's what it's an unsuccessful cliff hanger amongst better ones
