Thanks for this video Dr. Keprate. I am living in. Lithuania currently - and many of these issues are similar here. Especially the ones regarding toilet paper, and everything being written here in the local language (Lithuanian in this case) - I have now gotten used to using Google Translate when I am the grocery (or other stores.. though thankfully many of the staff here speak English)... also the cooking system is using induction here too. The medical system : supplement culture is there present in Lithuania too... I have not needed an antibiotic yet so can't say, but needed antihistamines and they gave that OTC without any prescription, thankfully.

They dont speak english either, but its one of those European countries where people speak english very well. So its a second language for them as well.
@kimayraa18642 жыл бұрын
No need to speak English if you want to get involved with them you need to learn bokmål which is a Norwegian dialect which almost every Norwegian speaks there is one more dialect but this one is spoken widely
@bjrnjensen7074 Жыл бұрын
@@kimayraa1864 well, depends on. Most-at least younger people-speak "quite good" English, but it is still a foreign language, so...depends on. That is why some people see Norwegians as a bit reserve-but this apply to anyone attempting to speak a foreign language; if they are good at it, they speak freely, if not they are perhaps struggeling. This may be seen as reservedness, when the real barrier is the language. It is not a must to learn Norwegian,at least not fluently, perhaps some basics, depending on how long you intend to stay here. Depends on. I had a friend who worked at an IT-company, it was not a requirement to speak fluent Norwegian to get the job. Having said that, your choices will then be more restricted. Namaste from Oslo.
