🥳...Fellow Lifelister IHUNTA_FISHES ( / ihunta_fishes ) was the first one to notice the Riverweed Darter in the Roanoke, VA series. Thanks to him, I got myself the Freshwater Fishes of Virginia Book, which allowed me to properly identify that particular sample.

I love how you put the fish first and understand that the fish bring us joy by catching them. so we gotta do our part to take care of them to preserve the joy we get from them. Yessssss Leo. Man I’ve been shaking, empty, and thirsty for some Leo Sheng. I would like to highly recommend that you try snorkel fishing when spring comes. It is unmatched for catching darters, sculpins, madtoms, shiners, and suckers. I have acquired a ton of new species doing so!

ah bro, i am fishing the juniata river all the time just north of here, only have ever caught bass but sometimes 30 in a day! Central PA is a great place to fish, going catfishing on the Susquehanna for the first time with a friend saturday night!

Leo, I just started binge watching your videos. You crack me up man. Not sure if anyones told you yet since it’s been a year, but that minnow is a rosy face shiner you caught, not a comely. Note the stitched lateral line and longer snout. Check out Maryland DNR’s fish key online. Great resource for fish ID.
