One of the things that makes this movie somewhat unique was that it was one of the few teen movies that wasn't filmed in California. Seattle/Tacoma made a great backdrop for this film.

its been 25 years now, I'm almost 17 and catching up on all the classics I haven't seen, and this is now my favorite movie, easily. Everyone I've talked to that's seen it loves it, it gave me a discovery of Heath Ledger, and I love him. He died right after I was born so there was no way for me to be obsessed with him while he was alive, but I just pretend he was. He'd be so continually iconic now. I love this movie so much, there's so many iconic lines.

This movie is very memorable. Heath ledger is such a talented actors. I like it so much when this movie doesn't put too much cheese inside but still successfully manage to give butterfly effect. Julia and Heath's chemistry is so exceptional. I love them being sarcastic. Sarcasm can't go wrong. It's the best love language
