If you enjoy what you are doing, then it doesn't matter what other people think. There are a lot of us who enjoy your videos and tutorials. So never doubt that what you are doing is reaching a lot of people and making us happy. And if it is making you happy, then that really is quite a bonus and truly what it is all about.

I will turn 70 in April, and my hands and fingers are painfully arthritic. I enjoy following your videos. Sometimes I need to just stop and come back later because my fingers won’t cooperate. “That’s okay.” You give me permission to do what I can, in segments as I can. And my perfectionism has permission to not be perfect. Wigglely lines are okay. If my hand jerks, it’s okay. If my hand cramps up, it’s okay to stop and come back later. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us!!!

Hi Marsha. I will be 70 in May and I understand the issues with our hands and fingers. Mine often have little jerks also, but they just become part of the drawing. I'm so happy to know that you are enjoying my videos and that they help you to accept your art. It's always nice to come back later and admire what you've done. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Happy tangling!! 🥰❤

Oooh thanks so much for doing this one. I printed it out on card stock and then cut it to perfectly fit a 5 x 7 frame and I will keep it right here where I tangle to remind me of the 10 to Zen. Comparanoia creeps into my thoughts quite frequently, and I need to just take a big sledgehammer to that thought. We all have different styles, and we need to remember to embrace our own style yet enjoy seeing the style of others.🥰❤️

You're welcome, Polly. 🥰❤ I struggle with it daily, so I also enjoy the reminders. I love your style and all the others that are shared. Great inspirations! ❤❤

I don't think I have ever seen these tangles! I started Doodles and Tangles in 1918/1919. Then I stopped until just recently. I am really slow, and I am not doing as well on line work as I did years ago. I will keep practicing! I am 76 with many health problems. Love your videos. You are a great teacher.

I'm glad that you are tangling again. It's fine to go slow and just enjoy one line at a time. Did you mean that you started in 2018/2019? I did my first Zentangle tile in January 2018. I appreciate your comments and hope that you enjoy practicing these patterns. We can do this at any age! 🥰❤

I love your tangles and teaching style! Can I make one small suggestion? Is there a way to stabilize either your table or camera - not sure which - to stop the little bouncing movement? I love that there’s no music, and I prefer no color!
@notperfectzen11 ай бұрын
I appreciate all suggestions! My camera situation has always been a struggle and lately I use my iPad which is not easy to stabilize. But I do my best to keep it steady. Sometimes my grandchildren move things around and I may not have noticed in this video. Thanks for watching! 🥰❤
