I feel so bad for Xiang Liu😢 The best character in this drama is Xinag Liu. He loved XaoYao very much. He deserved a happy ending. Xiang Liu was much better than Tushan Jing and deserved XaoYao. He loved her unconditionally, he did everything for the woman he loved. Undoubtedly the best character in this drama is Xinag Liu👏👏

You are not objective at all. Has Jing ever hit Xiao Yao? Has he sucked her blood to get better? Has he ever shown his temper when not happy? There is no doubt, that Xiang Liu is the most controversial and exciting character in this series, however, I understand why Xiao Yao picked Jing. PS. Xiao Yao liked "the Fang Feng Bei version" of Xiang Liu, alas, Xiang Liu decided not to play that role. He was a general.

I dont understand if xiao yao can get resurrected, why none is trying to resurrect xiang liu? Like tushan jing was saved by him, xiao yao was saved by him But Both of Them are so Selfish & aren't even trying to resurrect Xiang liu. Specially Xiao yao knew it very well that Xiang liu saved her life once by sacrificing his own & kept her for 37 years. How can someone be so pathetic & awful like her? She is way too coward who only thinks for herself & doesn't want to do anything for others.

Reasons why a lousy and unattractive person Jing was chosen for marriage by FL- 1. Old friendship when she saved him and he fell for her. 2. He never hurt or tormented her nor lost his temper. This meant, she could live peacefully. 3. He saved her when demon got her drowned in the deep sea and when he literally died protecting her from magic fire. 4. Demon loved FL a lot and resurrected her from death sacrificing his two lives for her but he never confessed his love to her, kept hurting and humiliating her and even got hired by Jing to spoil her marriage with Fenglong. Therefore, the demon lost for ever. 5. Xuan, the king was a 3rd grade brother who sent her to date with two men of his choice for political gains and favors and never let her get married to anyone. She never regarded him as a lover. 6. Fenglong was already a weak and fragile case for marriage and he let his marriage be spoiled by cunning Jing and dirty demon. So, by process of elimination, out of four suitors, Jing got the highest tally of plus points. Though he has no attractive personality, he was rich, educated, poet and artist, and above all, a cunning strategist always monitoring moves royal people and his love interest. I don't feel bad for anyone becoz Asian society allows only one living spouse to a woman. How can she satisfy many?

I loved both Xiang Liu and Jing for her. Maybe in their next life Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao will be able to be together or maybe it just wasn't meant to be, because her true love is Jing. I'm glad she got her happy ending with Jing and by leaving their Royal status behind, they were left free to wander around the world together, hand in hand, never to part. I picture them ending up like that old couple, living on top of the mountain, without a care in the world, devoted to each other, and enjoying the simple way of life, the old happy couple everybody else envied. At the end of the day, that's what Xiao Yao and Ying wanted, so I'm happy with the ending. BTW I never liked her cousin and found him creepy.
