TENCH FISHING ON METHOD FEEDER

In this video we’re off to the very famous Yateley Complex, however, we’re not Carp Fishing - we’re fishing for Tench on Summer Pit. We catch some stunning fish on pellets and simple Method Feeder tactics. Bait used is by SonuBaits and tackle is by Korum. Thanks for watching!

Hi Nick some beautiful tench there very nice well fished sir them pelletos i just use quick stops to mount them on the hair they work a treat,like you said it's very busy on the banks i have done lots of fly-fishing small streams for trout just to get away from the busy banks,This coming monday i off to the river wye get there tueday morning fist light on the 16th i love the wye especially the barbel bring it on the river season yes take care Nick and stay safe have a great river season Nick,Alien

Agreed a puzzling choice at best. Perhaps just to say he fished yateley albeit summer pit?For the record Nick the crucians in summer pit which you mention were never original stockings, they were moved from one of the other yateley waters illegally and placed into summer pit by one of the head guys of RMC angling at the time, Mr Ian Welch. P. S last venue Nick was on was obviously Mill Lane. Bit of a jump up from summer pit for a proper tench challenge as I'm sure you found out. I guess it will be back on to the upper lea for opening season and some runs water barbel fishing to look a "hero" and competent..

Sonubaits 8mm pellet-o’s on the hair. Scalded 6mm Spicy Sausage pellets on the feeder. 👍👍👍

When you are feeding in different places every 40 minutes wouldn't that spread ground bait all over

I have only got a small amount of pellet on the flat bed feeder so I'm not exactly spreading lots of bait all over the place. It's similar to move solid bags around to locate carp. I've found it's a good way to find where they are in the lake.

Used to fish summer pit when LS had it, Cracking little lake. Then Farnham got hold of it !!! And now they've chucked a load of carp in there !! Wankers....... Good luck getting a tench out of Mill Lane, I tried and failed, They were there, Just not taking the bait..

Yeah, I don’t understand why they’ve put a load of small carp in it tbh. It makes no sense to me. I’ll be doing a few more sessions on Mill Lane, but it’s going to be tough. I did 2 or 3 sessions on it last year and blanked also. Feels like you’ve gotta go in with scales down carp tactics.
