My prayers go out to u my brother. Stay strong. Thank u for sharing your journey. There’s always extreme advancements in the medical field. Maybe one day, you’ll be able to share with us a video of u freely tap dancing and moonwalking. I’m going through a pretty tough recovery myself 😊

Keep your head up bro. I have the exact same injury as you it’s crazy. Back in november 27, 2015 I got in a Very bad Motorcycle on my ducati. I honestly don’t remember anything after i crashed but what i do remember was that i was on the HOV lane in LA and was trying get out of it but i dont know where my mind was and there where barriers and bam i hit them straight on. Doctors said that i must’ve hit so hard because i broke my pelvis completely same exacts screws as you my groin area was the size of a basketball tmi but it is what it is. It’s been a few years since but unfortunately i lost feeling to my sciatic nerve completely on my right leg and developed foot drop. My right foot looks very skinny and weak compared to my healthy left foot due to atrophy of not having feeling to the muscle. I can’t walk with out an AFO brace or a cane depending what i am doing. I’m 28 years old bro it impacted me at a very young age but i honestly cant complain when there is so many people on a death bed or even Motorcyclist that didn’t have the blessing to survive their accidents. We keep on pushing with braces and all and blessed that we still on this earth.

Got my tendon transfer surgery in a month . I also tore 3 ligaments;had a brain injury , broke my jaw , had a fasciotomy and a bypass in my leg. I also go through nerve pain which sucks like you said and on the night of my accident they were also thinking of amputation but I’m extremely lucky. I’m also now walking without crutches and mostly use a cane and I’m doing rlly well. GOOD LUCK TO YOU BROTHER❤️

@@keniaalejandrahernandezvid9935 I had the surgery on march 29th so I'm still in a boot/cast (I'm in the uk so I had nhs delays) but when I take it off to clean and stuff I ca noticeably lift my foot up which is incredible , that's the only progress I have so far , but I will start weight bearing in 3 days

@@keniaalejandrahernandezvid9935 if you do have the surgery , you need to know that you still will need to wear a splint after the surgery

@@stangsandwangs258 oh really? I have seen other cases of surgery and they no longer use the splint

You’re strong. I’m dealing with pain on my left side and I think a lot is due to not using it for so long after several foot surgeries. Did you get pain due to muscle wastage?
@HandiCapableChannel Жыл бұрын
