The video is corny. Aging, depressed, physically attractive career woman in an office, socially awkward beta guy likes her and she rejects him on a date but he hangs on hoping to get some, bad guy boss fires her, socially awkward guy saves the day and gets to be the hero after attractive, aging career woman has a realization. but I do really like the song. Edit I watch the video again and I realized that the woman at the end hugging Mr nerdy McNiceguy isn't the same woman who got fired. It's turned from a m'lady fantasy to an incel fantasy. I also love that the rooftop scene at the end makes me think of The Room scene where johnny goes 'oh hai mark'.
