Don't blame the local Police or the locals, they are the ones out there looking for him in the scorching heat. 19 years old used to living at home, drunk, alone, doesn't speak the language, mobile phone on 1% battery, desoriented in a place he's not familiar with - what could possibly go wrong? Absolutely everything and it did. When I grew up our mothers always told us to whatever happens always stay together, never leave a friend alone, it could prevent a crime or even save a life.

Strange that he got a lift from the music event to the strangers house, then left to get a bus and when he missed the bus , he chose to walk 11 hours at night instead of returning to the house to charge his phone , get a drink and arrange transport. Sounds like he was kicked out of the house.

I do not believe for one second he thought that it was a good idea to walk back with no water or battery , no matter how intoxicated he was (I’ve been there) I believe he had no choice. The bus stop is literally right outside the house and when he called his friend Lucy he was already 30mins away from the house. He was fleeing something

From what I've gathered, it seems like he made friends with two men at the rave. Jay's other friends went back to their accommodation and Jay decided to go with the two men to their Airbnb accommodation. He left the Airbnb in the morning and decided to try and get back to the apartment on the coast where his friends that he came to Tenerife with.

An 11 hour walk is not easy in itself, but across ground like that, in that heat with no food, drink or obvious shelter is not a decision to be taken lightly Why havent the "men" who brought him there been out looking for him? Why did they just abandon him if they knew he had no transport? And WHY did he decide NOT to simply wait in the cafe for the bus? He was either very confussed or somthing had scared him badly I hope he has found shelter & that he's found alive & well quickly. His poor family & friend's must be imaging all sort's as they wait for new's... It's just incredibily sad, espciall6 coming just a week after Dr Michael Mosely perished after a very similar incident in the scortching heat of greece. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 That he's found very soon 😢
