Apparently he had turned up at the location to meet a girl, but was instead chased by a group of boys he later described as “like a pack of gorillas.” He ran through the woods and onto the road, but eventually Jay Slater and his buddies caught up to him, put him on the ground, and beat the sh1t out of him with their weapons. The maddest part about it? All eight assailants got let off with Community Orders, even though they ‘laughed and joked’ in court in a way the judged described as ‘disrespectful’. Unbelievable!

I don't think anyone would have found him, because the boy would have tried to give his family a sign of life as soon as possible.

After having a mountain exp in Tenerife I would say it would be hard to survive longer than three days out there without food and water. The cactus injury would have been very agitating. Dehydration causes disorientation. I ask for some help in Tenerife in Las Americas and was inappropriately touch by another African man. I know the volcanic rock can shred you up if you fall. I know this area. Its remote, but there are plenty of roads and for that matter cars using them. He missed the bus but did not wait for the next one. Tenerife is actually well served by buses. Regardless why would he not simply walk back on the road? Why did he not get a lift back by his new mates? None of this adds up. Likely to be a documentary on this whole affair eventually. Regardless of his past hope he is found safe. Everyone deserves a second chance.

In the bus stops here you have to press a button, normally situated in the corner of the bus stop interior. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know to use it. If you don’t press it the buss drives on through. It’s used in most remote areas.

Poor lad I hope he’s found soon, I mean how many of us have been in similar situations? I know I have in my Ibiza days absolutely off my nut , go partying with strangers end up a long way from your hotel sometimes. I think he’s come off the main road probably trying to take a shortcut down the mountains and unfortunately it hasn’t went his way. Can’t imagine the pain his poor mother is going through , as sad 😢

Some one has commented he has went missing before. Also the girl he spoke to said his phone was dying and he was going to walk back. And he was thirsty. So how did this girl come up with the idea that he has been kidnapped. Bound to be someone in that area who saw him. Very odd after Dr Mosley's death and the incident last week.

Apparently, as soon as the mother had landed in tenerife she received a snap chat saying “kiss your boy Goodnight” and some other ominous things. Maybe that is where the suspicions for him being kidnapped are coming from

why - hed prob been partying all night, drinking, maybe drugs or weed, probably not eating and he said he needed water on phone as he was setting off to catch bus - its easy to get disorientated in a foreign place that is hot and arid.
