Wow that place has changed. Used to play football on that pitch opposite before it had a fence round it. Was never that busy then neither. Mid 90s were so much better there.

When I was age 21 I had an amazing holiday in Tenerife and I stayed in those apartments called Las Floritas that we seen at the beginning of this. I am now 57 and it all just came flooding back seeing this. Many times I have tried to remember the name of those apartments unfortunately to no avail. 1986 was a very good year 😎 🍹

Las floritas apartments by d whiskey jar u have 2 walk in & do a tour... looks nothing from outside but really lovely when u walk through reception. Parents stay there every year since 1997 🌞🌞🌞

Have only visited Las americas whilst staying in Puerto de La Cruz it was a nice day out we walked all along the front so it was good to see the other areas in your video that we never got to see on a day visit! We did enjoy our stays in Tenerife and loved our trip to Loro parque it was an amazing day out. What a lovely end to this video the scenery was beautiful and happy people cause thats what its all about really isnt it?

Hi Kevin, always stay in the Columbus Hotel. Have done that walk many times!! I asked about the Giddy Goose pub, so was really pleased to showed it in the vlog!! Great to see it's back open!! Really appreciate that you mentioned it and included it in the video 👍. On that walk you can have quite a good pub crawl 🍻🍻to the beach 🤣🤣!! Can't wait to do it again!! Cheers.

We always stay in the Torviscas area but we always head in to PDLA a few times during the holiday, the road with the Giddy Goose we've always just walked by it, seeing all the restaurants and bars means we'll need to take a walk up, this is ehy your vids are good 👍

Probably one of the best kept secrets of the Canaries is that there are very dangerous sharks in those waters including *Great Whites!* Fortunately, at the moment, they keep well out to sea but as their numbers seems to be decreasing around South Africa, they seem to be increasing in the Atlantic. Big debate if they are now in UK waters funny enough, the West Coast of Scotland has had a few credible reports!

My heart belongs to Tenerife. But if you know surfing, then las Americas is not really the place , my favourite place in Tenerife is el medano. And the vibe and surf culture is cool as penguin piss there..😎 I do like Americas, but it's the family's bit for me. Everyone should check benijo beach or the incredible and stunning masca valley. So so much to see off the beaten track.. If the numbers ever came in, we are getting a little place there..
