Stayed in the compastella beach beside vistasur. Self catering three times brilliant place to stay. Handy for beach and bars and a 10 min walk to los christianos. Love it at playa de americas

Stayed in there a couple of years ago,best rooms on second floor overlooking the pool.They have extra large balcony’s with table and chairs and two sun loungers and outside showers 👍

We have stayed at the Vulcano twice. The first we had a pool view but it was a side view and the trees blocked the view, but it was a great room. The second was a, I think its called a balanced room. We where in room 054 It was a very good room. But I am disabled and the room is a long way to the restaurant and entertainment. If its raining then you are going to get soaked. We are booked in again for November this time we have booked a pool view UP room

Stayed in the Vulcano, Half term Feb 23. The south facing balconies are essential to me and my wife. We had the sun from 9 in the morning until 7-7:30 evenings. So handy if you’ve been out for the day and come back, late afternoon and can’t be bothered going down to the pool or staying out just to get the sunshine. Great videos as always Kevin. Cheers.

Hi Kevin great vlog as usual, stayed at the Vulcano two weeks ago when the spa caught fire ! Hotel evacuated for 3 hours , we had only just arrived, but fair play to the hotel they directed us to the Bitacora where drinks were provided.. alcohol included.

My husband and myself used to come to the Vulcano twice a year up till lock down. My husband has now passed away and i would love to come back at some point, but my age is now going against me (71). We always stayed in the adapted rooms as my husband was disabled. We were always treat with the utmost respect by the whole Vulcano family. Highly recommended. (This is Monday the 19th of June 2023)

Not been to Tenerife, but 5 times to Gran Canaria. The capitol Las Palmas is nice, most of my experience has been on the south of the island in and around the tourist areas of Playa del Ingles, Maspolomas, Puerto Rico and Porto Mogan. What a contrast. The ugly, seedy, desperate vibe of that part of GC versus this beautifully laid out destination. Your Hotel was spectacular. Outside there is a real sense of space and peace. GC really is grubby, so much development gone mad, so many abandoned businesses, it has certainly had a busy past but its over. You can see buildings and infrastructure deteriorating rapidly. More competition and higher standards expected. A lot of property German owned and they visit in great numbers. Tenerife certainly looks like worth a visit.

we stayed at the Bitacora which was the sister hotel, they had a policy of taking the towels off after 30 mins if there was nobody on them. Popped into the Vulcan just before they renovated it. I spend most of the week at the strip of bars watching the entertainment, football etc wobbled back plenty of times.

I remember my very first stay in Tenerife back in the very early 80's, stayed at the Parque de la Paz, there was nothing in front of it, apart from the very early stages of building the mare nostrum, just vast areas of wasteland basically lol! Not like it is here in your video! Jeez, how this area has changed since then! Vulcano, Conquistador (is that still the name of it?) Bitacora and what was then the Tenerife Princess (glass lift outside the building) were there, but not a lot else. Back then, PDLA was separate from Los Cris, not joined as it is now. Early mornings are the best time for cool walks with no blazing sun, good video Kev!

Kevin, another great video as always, I have asked you previously and you did recommend the Volcano and I really fancy it as we're coming over in October. This maybe going to be a silly question, but the Missus is a bit concerned that all the greenery inside the hotel maybe hiding bugs and things, is it real or plastic hehe ?.
