The Red & Blue identifiers where a ‘metaphor’ (kinda) of the doppler effect where we have red shift and blue shift. in astrophysics, red shift is where galaxies are moving away from our own, and blue shift when galaxies are moving towards are own, blue shift rarely happens as the universe is expanding so red shift is the pro dominant shift in our universe. So thats why time inversion is represented in blue as time is flowing towards the birth of the universe whereas red is flowing away and time is increasing. Great podcast so far.

I am a lucid dreamer and one the first things I learned how to do with LD 35 years ago was to take advantage of the opportunities provided when the brain relaxes its hold on the illusion of linear time. I enjoyed Inception which isn’t the best movie about this topic, that belongs to Waking Life and Vanilla Sky. I have a book coming in 2024 about my travels outside of theses restrictions in out of body and lucid dreams. Loving your podcasts as a lifelong cinephile.

One of my favourite moments in the movie is when sator finds the protagonist watching him open up his capsule on the yacht. And he is trying to find out who the protagonist is working for. Sator says 'we live in a twilight world' this is the phrase that the CIA use to identify agents in the field (in the movie) . The phrase that is meant to be said in return is 'there are no friends at dusk' but when sator says this to the protagonist, the protagonist replies 'is that Whitman?'. Also the reason sator knows the phrase because he has an in with cia and that's how he gets his cia suicide pill.

It’s not totally confirmed. BUT, the French spelling of Maximilien can be used as a clue, take the final four letters “lien” and invert them, then you get “Neil”, plus his accent is like Kat’s, he can speak Estonian like Sator.

Whole theories about Max is Neil seems improbable. At best Max could be the scientist which created algorithm and turnstile. Him deciding to split algorithm could be the "man in crystaline throwing a switch and Armagedon is both triggered and avoided", from then on Protagonist started mission of saving the algorithm in past. Neil could be nerd which happily follows him. So Max could be a man which want to save his generation via inversion thus destroying past generations (possibly holding grudge against Sator).

HOW DID KAT HEAL HER BULLET WOUND??!!!! they did NOT invert her wound. kat healing her bullet wound just makes absolutely no sense to me. can someone explain plz? ok, so kat was shot by a inverted bullet. she had a bullet wound if they didn't do anything she would die. they brought her into the inverted world. WHY WOULD THE WOUND START HEALING SUPER FAST IN THE INVERTED WORLD? raiders said when they're inverted, their bodies are still aging forwards, they're thinking forwards and their bodies are moving forwards too. This is evident when Protagonist goes into inverted world for the first time. he walks forwards, gets in a car and drives forwards, while his whole environment is moving backwards, aka inverted, so I'm assuming his body, his skin is not part of the environment. This means, when someone is inverted, everything about them from their perspective is still moving forwards: they're aging older (they don't become younger), they're doing their actions forwards. so...................... why would Kat heal her bullet wound ultra-fast if she's inverted? and we learned that the bullet was never unshot. she revealed her scar on the yacht, meaning the bullet did enter her, she DID get shot, she just managed to heal super fast. if the wound was inverted, then she would not have the scar. WHY WOULD SHE GAIN WOLVERINE'S SUPER FAST HEALING IF SHE'S INVERTED? THAT MAKES NO SENSE!!! you guys might bring up Protagonist's stab wound. here's the history of the stab wound. First he looks at his arm, there's a scar. then it starts bleeding. then it disappears because he gets unstabbed the suit version of Protagonist. this kinda sorta makes sense because the scar is moving backwards in time, so the scar's history is: scar-->bleeding-->nonexistent. Protagonist's wound never healed, it just inverted (essentially Protagonist's mind and body are always moving forward in time from his perspective, but his wound is moving backwards in time). This is DIFFERENT from Kat's bullet wound. Kat wound's history is: bleeding-->super fast healing-->completely healed with a scar. Meaning Kat's wound never inverted, it HEALED because she ended up with a scar. if super fast healing is possible, then it's possible for the protagonist to revive Neil at the end of the movie. Remember the bad bald guy was about to shoot the Protagonist and the inverted Neil blocked the bullet and died? Protagonist (at the end of the movie) can go back, pick up Neil's body, bring him to a turnstile, reinvert him and then invert him again, start the super fast healing process (just like what Kat did), and then reinvert back to forward moving time, essentially healing and reviving Neil (and I'm talking about the oldest Neil who died, not the other younger versions of Neil's). I know not everything about the Tenet makes scientific sense. The "burning becomes freezing in inverted world" makes absolutely no sense scientifically (if Protagonist's car starts burning, and you reverse it, wouldn't the fire disappear? Why would it start to freeze?), so maybe Kat gaining super fast healing while inverted is another one of those non-scientific plot device. Fantastic podcast Raiders! Love it
@raidersofthelostpodcast_4 жыл бұрын
Thanks!!! So Kat was in a normal timeline and hit with an inverted bullet. So when they inverted her, the bullet became reverted and the wound healed itself 👍🏻
@funnnnnnnn34424 жыл бұрын
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ hi raiders, thank you so much!!!! it makes more sense now. i'm still kinda confused on some plot points. so hypothetically, at the end of the movie, can protagonist go on the helicopter with neil, run behind him in the underground place, wait for neil to get shot in the head, and then carry his corpse into the turnstile, and invert the bullet in neil's head, and revive him? or is neil dead permanently?
@alensmit36642 жыл бұрын
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ Hmm, inverted Sator shot the normal Kate. Then Tenet team invert themselves and Kate. Inverted radiation stabilize wound enough to Neil can perform a surgery to completely heal her.
@alensmit36642 жыл бұрын
There are so many fan theories regarding forwards and rearwards time flow and how simplistic those theories work in their statements but many forgetting one main thing. A radiation from turnstile machine which makes turnstile works in allowing objects to go invert in time. Those radiation change entropy of objects, this is why inverted bullet is so devastating. Inverting Kate stabilize her wounds, nothing more, there is no "healing process of Protagonist arm"situation here. Inverting Kate they're stabilizing wounds from inverted bullet and latter we see Neil performing operation which completely heal her. Trick here lies in radiation which affect entropy of object. Inverting objects allows flow in time in which probability of things which happen in process is 100% determined. Kate is destined to survive the inverted bullet and latter show on yacht, she dying would create paradox. Also Kate was shot from inverted Sator. The only time she was inverted is the moments when she was healing from wounds.

Only thing I don’t understand is when the people from the future invert the gold as payment, why doesn’t Russian bad guy have to wait 100 years to find the gold?
@Aadamszn4 жыл бұрын
Because everything inverted moves at the same speed right? So if someone inverts gold 200 years in the future, after you have moved 100 years forwards in time then the gold has also moved 100 years in time but backwards. And then you’ll find it. Or am I just dumb?

Because the gold has been inverted! So the gold traveled the 200 years to get to that point, but to Sator and us it's real time and instantaneous.
