Totally agree abt the difference between the soundtrack vs the sound! Somehow I think I'm going to find streaming this 40% less fun, the overwhelming music and the mix was a big part of the theater experience in a way that I don't think has mattered much to me before.

I really wanted to like this movie but I was so confused. I think I need to watch it again to really make up my mind about it. Most people either like this movie or hate it, I think I'm leaning towards liking it. It was clever but you need to think and pay attention to understand the plot and timelines.

Might not like it, that seems to be the general consensus. I'll skip it. I didn't like his last couple of movies. They are all technically perfect and so very clever. They are also too heavy on exposition ( a reverse of the mantra "show, don't tell" ), convoluted, pretentious and devoid of likable or even developed characters. But hey, at least the viewer gets epic vistas and a bombastic soundtrack. *sigh*
