This worked like magic I couldn't believe it. Played two sets today and only had 4 or 5 double faults (which were because of my toss). Watch the whole video, don't skip anything!

Just want to say thank you fella. Got to implement your recommendations yesterday and it has truly transformed my serve. Usually very suspect and unreliable. Now I can do what I like as the topspin is amazing. I would add a comment that you need to hit through harder because YOU CAN. if not I was hitting short. Not too bad as it was but if you go for it it makes even more difference. The turning of the grip was key for me. Thanks again I really appreciate it.

I tried these tips, which made a HUGE difference and added a good 10% to my service speed. Take your time to make sure you hit these checkpoints. Thanks for a great video!

'Golden' is the right word for all of them. The first one (wrist inwards), I had never had mentioned in lessons, etc. I thought it was related to the personal technique of some great servers (Raonic, Ivanisevic, etc) but now I notice it's used more or less by all the pros. Now I understand why sometimes I feel my racket drop a bit 'unnatural'. Many thanks for the video.

I was practicing serves today and was having all kinds of issues. Then, I concentrated on curling my wrist inward early in the serve. Voila! It helped immediately. Now I watch the video and had a Wow moment. I stumbled on a tip because it felt so much more natural.

Some awesome serve tips here so thanks for sharing👍 One tip I'll throw in is that driving the legs up will initiate the racket drop. Think about Andy Roddick and his extreme trophy position. The best servers in history all have this down.

Brilliant clear steps thanks so much I am looking forward to developing my serve never too late to learn I am 63 but still able to run etc no drop off in performance actually getting better due to all the good tuition on KZbin but yours is the best IMO for the serve far superior than others and your demonstrations really help.

Seems to me the crucial aspect of tip #1 is that (together with the turning of the wrist) is that you bring the racket up at right angles to the ground instead of the sweep of the arm ending up at right angles to the body. By bringing it up vertically it then goes easily over the shoulder and continues into a deep drop. And the deep drop is a huge issue for so many players especially me.
