Looks amazing and I really look forward to the final product. Just a little scare with how automated it is that its moving component wouldn't last and it could be stolen in a more remote area or unlikely that it folds you in with it (but they probably have it all planned for safety). I need more information cause I really want it! XD

Could this type of approach work with cylindrical shapes? Like, could you make something that would stow inside the payload bay of a current rocket, and then eject it into space to have it expand into a larger structure?

Looks quite nice. But how strong are they? Can they withstand storm? Jumping party of 20+ people inside? Lots of heavy furniture? What about thermo- and water- isolation? Cool, it can be temporary or you can live in it for a lifetime coz' it looks like a nice house. The only problem with it is you'll have being-squeezed-to-death anxiety all day (like range anxiety with EVs), if something happens to the circuit and starts folding in, again. God bless scientists like engineers.

As fascinating as the concept is, for all practical purposes of implementation, there are quite a few problems, or so it seems. 1. How is the mechanism going to be powered if it is mobile 2. What about water and electricity supply for the occupants 3. How rigid and well supported is the structure, given that it's on stilt-like structures and has multiple mechanisms simply holding up sections of the structure in its constructed state 4. Given the change in floor area from the compact to full constructed phase, how would the furniture be stored safely and securely
