What cine lens do you recommend for the FX3 for commercials

I'm literally in the process of working more intentional projects to step into being a DP vs just a videographer. I'm curious, in terms of things like contrast ratio... Where did you begin to learn and apply knowledge like that? Because you had to think of the brand to determine what ratio would be best understanding the ratios to get the desired image and THEN the lights necessary to achieve the look WHILE accommodating for the skin tones of talent. all concisely said in seconds. Is it just more intentional work? I'm trying to figure out how to turn this process into daily tasks I can execute consistently.

Great video! Couldn't agree more regarding depth of field. Just because you've got a fast lens doesn't mean that you've got to film wide open all the time. this is even more important on cameras with larger sensors as that focal plane can get razor thin.

the whole f stop and t stop thing to me is that Constant stop is more important that as super fast lens. tho a fast lens is more flexible
