Its like if, koreans are very particular with their looks and make-up, Filipinas are very particular about their smell, hahaha!!!! Most Filipinas will take a bath 2-3 times a days since Philippines is a tropical country.

Ricky: Who does that to their backpacks? Answer: Pretty much all Filipinos, especially when you're in a crowded place. We usually carry it the other way around and hug it to our chests to avoid having the items inside stolen. 😅 Relate ako dun sa zipper na nilalagay sa side 🤣

LOL, here in the Philippines, backpacks become front packs. 🤪 And my mum, whenever we travel and have to go through airport check-ins or security, she makes sure that our bags are always secured with locks and keys and unnecessary pockets are sewed. All these just to avoid thiefs or weird airport dramas (example: laglag bala).

I agree with bringing "all the documents" when going to government offices. I DO THAT TOO! You want to minimize going back and forth just because you failed to bring one document. I do the same thing, check the bill in a restaurant. I got the habit from my husband who is Filipino but grew up in California. You'd be surprised the number of times we were charged for something we never ordered or the price on the receipt didn't match the price from the menu, meaning we were overcharged. Also, some restaurants automatically add a service fee to the total, so it pays to know that before you decide to add a tip.

We Filipinos in general are too cautious with a lot of things. it ś almost like a paranoia. Yes, it has something to do with our environment in the Philippines. Back in college , I myself experienced to be a victim of thieves in school, in the bus almost everywhere. Sad to say that there are thieves in our country. It has something to do with trust. In the Philippines if you want to apply for an ID you have to bring an ID and to get that ID you have to have NBI, Police clearance, barangay certificate, cedula, birth certificate, marriage certificate and another ID..

hahaha Ricky this is just the start, when Filipinas became mothers their bags will be full of diapers, wet wipes, a can of powdered milk, baby bottles, towels, babies change of clothes and so much more. Baby powder and hand sanitizers are just the starter pack.

My grandmother carried everything in her purse (just in case!), but I tend to do that as well. I use cornstarch instead of baby powder but it does the same thing. Good for you, Erica! You're always prepared. :)

Same. I can't leave the house without hand sanitizer or alcohol. Even wayy before pandemic. Since elementary I was taught my mom to have it always in my bag and eventually adapt to it💛💛

I carry my passport with me here in the US just in case I meet an ICE and they ask if I am "legal." A driver's license is not enough for them. 😠😠 infuriating!
