Thanks for watching! I have seen a LOT of comments from people saying they would buy a t shirt of Beula the motorcycle pig! 😂 I uploaded the design to my redbubble page here: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/67591589?asc=u You can get that beautiful Beula on like 85 different products! BOOM 😂😂 I have also seen a ton of comments saying I should publish this book! I am strongly considering it. Either by making all the illustrations myself or Using that watercolor artist for all the pages (which would be less work for me 😎) Let me know in the replies to this post which you would prefer... illustrations by me or illustrations by that $30 watercolor artist.

I would honestly love if you had the option to either get the original art that you ordered and used in this video or the watercolor artist. That would be amazing! I might even buy both if I could afford it. The original art would most likely be a collector's item for me and the full watercolor style would be a book for my future children because I love the premise for it. Honestly an excellent book idea!

I love the idea of many different artists doing a page each in a story about art for kids. I feel like if each had a bio with an illustrated self portrait at the end and the page numbers they drew you'd get kids flipping back and forth to compare and pick favourites, do their own illustration pages and understand how to identify the artists by their distinctive styles. Besides the drawing, it would almost certainly encourage reading and re-reading that teaches literacy, as well as a lot of sharing with friends, siblings and parents. Just getting kids to do a page each of the same book (without cues for what illustrations should look like) would be really cool.

The voiceover absolutely SMASHED it, you should make a children song collab with her. You#re the expert, the watercolours are painted for REAL ?! That's just INCREDIBLE, someone's putting their all into it. I missed out. I’m about to join FIVER! The best artist on the project was your work. Children love color and primary colors are ideal. Also you have a specific line of illustration and aesthetic that would appeal to children. With that being said (written), it was a great idea, just confusing to a child if reading the book because Johnny looks different at every turn of the page. Just something to consider. Finally, thanks for sharing this video. It was great!

It hurts me when artists charge so little, it was kinda hard to hear how little they charge tbh, I don’t really know how they can do what they do, some of those lower prices like $15-30 are less than the average hourly wage of most illustrators let alone being the final price of a whole illustration 😱😱😱 whaaatt?!?

Fist of what an incredible story from premise to execution! Honestly as a creative child this story would have meant the world to me and is something I would read to my child. For that reason you should HIGHLY consider actually turning it into one and putting it for sale because they would be a market for it. Such imagination and creativity to share the simple idea of keep trying every day and you will improve because we already have the tools necessary and need to believe in ourselves! I needed this lesson even now as a content creator myself and feeling the need to already be perfect instead of daily improvements, so thanks for that. My favorite artist was Complex pages...beautiful images..perfect for all ages to convey the story effectively..would totally hire to do the book (which i suggest again lol ) Props to your wifey for an amazing image and love that you push her to get out of her comfort to create art, because she is every bit of an artist as you are and the rest you hired. As a voice over artist who is also on Fiverr, I have to say she did an amazing job! I also would probably go into a comma if I received a message from a svenngun

I don't know why but seeing your childhood book made me cry, the story, story readers and illustrations are really very beautiful and perfect

Voice over lady definitely, probably didn't need any of the art pages and still would of provoked a great imagination from the audience

The mom you drew at 12:20 is a vibe. It reminds me of any australian guy with halflong hair and a thin moustache. I love it But jokes aside- I really like your art, you wrote a great story and it's amazing how generous you are in giving artists such a big audience!

Fun. Though I have to say as a (traditionally and indie) published children's literature author/illustrator, it makes me a sad that most people think you can just knock off a kids book (and like most things, picture books, picture story books, graphic novels, Early Readers, Middle Grade, and young adult all have very different needs, specifications and feels to them) But overall it's not a bad first effort. So for the record, word count in picture books have gone down considerable. When I started out a few years ago (twenty), you could get away with a 1000-1500 word count book USUALLY if you were both the author and illustrator. Now it's down to about 100-500 words. writing an evocative story with strong characters and such, is very difficult. As to the illustrations, there's more leeway in Picture books (and you're encouraged) to save a lot of information for the illustrations, and often they do not reflect the action (necessarily) of the story, but adds to it (with Early and EZ readers it's much more in line with actually mimicking the words on the page, because you're prompting the words to be read, where picture books there so often is another, older reader. Kudos for making the book not only serve a purpose, but beg to be read a number of times, by all parties, because it's fun, interesting, soothing, satisfying, etc. Nice moral to the story, but an editor would want the protagonist to find the solution and not be handed it, which I've always wished there's more of the "help" that kids actually do receive from adults, but there it is. Thank you, this was entertaining, and I'm playing hooky from my own creative process, but really, these things and you youngsters inspire me, lol. (you can see my work at my self-named website, if you're curious. Thanks again.

My favorite as a picture on its own is actually the one that did the last page at 15:10, so it's a real shame that he didn't make it more relevant to the story. Otherwise the watercolor guy KILLED it. His style was so great and so fitting that I feel like he could illustrate the entire book and it would be perfect. Exactly like you said, so bright and childlike, it really captures the feeling perfectly.

the voice over artist was amazing. really sold the emotion of the character and just had you fully immersed in the story. my favorite art was the water colours and of course Chelsea's not so amateur art has a unique feeling to it. when she finds and develops her own style she's going to be even better :3

BROO i cryed real tears.. As an artist i many times strugle to archive the expectations i have of myself, and exaustively repeat the same concept untill i'm happy with it. Precistence is the key to success! This is a very valuable lesson to an artist of ANY age
