You inspired me to break out my tenkara rod. Water levels are very low right now, especially in rivers. Those charr were absolutely gorgeous! Tight lines

I love fixed line fishing and the humming sound of the line cutting the water when playing a hooked fish. Great video! Thanks for sharing. What brand of tenkara rod are you using?
@spiltmiltАй бұрын
TUSA Ito . It’s linked in the description

I believe Brook trout are a variation of char, correct? these fish look a lot like the brookies I catch up here in the Utah mountains
@spiltmiltАй бұрын
Yes Brook Trout are a member of the char family

How far can you cast with that? Really debating trying that for coho. Maybe even kings on a small river haha Edit: looking at the reviews maybe not. Someone reported snapping their rod trying for salmon.

The rod I used could easily handle Puget Sound Coho. I’ve used smaller rods for Pinks. Tenkara Salmon Fishing: Washington State Pink Salmon kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYCrmJSOrrBsiNU

That person had the wrong equipment. I've caught pink and coho salmon on mine with no worries.
