Thank you! Hopefully, I can get a few more shots like this in the future. Thanks, for watching!

That's so impressive! I gotta say....sometimes I'd say a place is too small...but you proved it here...we should never say that about any bit of water, no matter how small!

Sometimes I like to get really creative with where I fish. In Utah you have to, our stream access laws are very limiting especially on waters close to Salt Lake City. I would have to say this is the smallest water that I’ve fished by far though. Thanks, for watching!

Wow! What can i say about this beyond perfect!? ... Amazing vid dude! Love fishing those tight creeks! Have you tried it with the Tiny Ten??
@FishikiFlyFishing4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man! I haven’t fished this one with the tiny ten yet, but it’s definitely been on my mind. As soon as runoff ends I’m going to give it a try.

Nice! Extending the rod at 1.18 and placing the fly at 1.32, no line on the water. As simple as it can get... And at 3.00, I thought you were joking: how on earth can you get life out of a stream so small...? Mental!

Thanks for watching and for the sub! The first time I fished this water I thought it was a lost cause. However, once I started throwing flies on top, the stream came alive with trout. I don't know if trout can live in a stream any smaller than this one. Cheers!

G'Day from Australia. Enjoyed your video very much. May I ask what type of line and length were you using? I've been using .7mm floating running line for most of my tenkara fishing. I've found it works well for me and is very cheap for a100 foot length. Keep making your excellent videos. Cheers, Steve.

Hey Steve, thank you so much for watching! I use 0.6mm pvc floating line made by dragontail tenkara. I also use about 8” of umpqua indicator tippet before I attach my clear tippet for nymphing. Cheers!

I've made up a nymphing line with 6 foot of that .7mm running line with about 12 inches of bicolour indicator tippet ending with a tippet ring. Then I add a length of 5x tippet--depending on the water depth. I usually fish it with a stiffish 8/9/10 foot zoom rod. It works quite well and I'll be using it more often now that our trout streams have just reopened. Cheers, Steve.

What were you using for a main line?
@FishikiFlyFishing4 жыл бұрын
I can't remember which line I was using this day. For a long time, I was just cutting off line from an old 2wt line I had. Since then I've been using 0.6mm pvc floating line from dragontail tenkara. Thanks, for watching!

What kind of dry fly are you using?

I used a #14 Royal Wulff the entire day. It's my go to fly for the summertime. Thanks for watching!
