Sion and Trynda, the only champions that can go 0/35 and still be useful to their team and latescale.

Trynda only good into adcs really, when he is behind. He cant play vs any other class then, exept some controll mages as well. Also he doesnt scale well into late game, unless there are no bruisers/tanks, and almost no cc in the enemy team. But sure, put him on the same level, as a champion thats only goal in laning phase is to empty his mana pool, die, reset and start it all over, and goes even against anyone with that strat.

Hey Brian - this is thebaus strategy. Laying it out here might help other people if they run into it. Your 1v1 skills where impeccable, but as was clear, sion was still scaling with you. This might explain for other people. So basically the idea is this You do not care so much about killing the opponent. Your main target is minions and tower plates. Tower plates are worth a kill each. So if your 0/5 but got all platings, you are actually about even with your opponent - but now you have their tower. This is why the sion still felt strong even though you where 2/0, 3/0, or 4/0. The second part of it is tempo. Sion can very quickly clear waves and pressure towers. This is where they 'int'. The idea is that if you manage to get your opponent low while taking a plate at a tower, they have to back or risk a dive from your jungler. If you do this as a big wave crashes under tower, they miss exp and gold, and due to your reduced respawn timer thanks to your passive duration, you will likely get back to lane at the same time When done correctly, this can be an incredibly potent strategy. Denying exp while taking a really early tower can negate the advantages that the opposing top laner would get from sion feeding as the top laner has to choose whether to babysit top without a first tower or roam and hope sion doesnt take the second one quick enough

My favorite build against Sion is lethal tempo with celerity for better kiting, BORK, Swifties if I need more kiting but berserks work too, rageblade if I really need to shred him but otherwise still riftmaker, then stuff like wit's end for even more movespeed and onhit damage, and sometimes even hullbreaker if I'm gonna spend the game matching him on side lane

He only "styled" if you consider killing a guy who's already 0/3 (so probably giving less than 200 gold per death) something actually worth. Even Pianta noted he was 30 cs behind at one point (and he didn't say it out loud but Sion had already got 3 platings as well).

If you consider the bounty system, platings, farming and wave management you'll see it's not bad play when you're creating advantagens for yourself even if you die at some points. Again: Pianta had a 30 CS disadvantage in a ranged vs melee matchup. If you can't see how that is an example of bad play by itself I have nothing else to add.
