I first heard Billy do this on Live at the Bluebird Cafe and was blown away. My Wife and I had a stumble in our relationship in 2006 and when she left, I learned this song and recorded it, uploading it here a year or so ago. We got back together in 2007 and I attribute it in part to this powerful song and the rest to true love. Billy is an amazing talent.

This whole thing actually brought tears to my eyes--as the song has so often done. Billy Dean is unmatched in modern country music, in my opinion. He is so read, so approachable, and so incredibly talented and flat-out watchable. I am so happy I found this video.
