I’m in Russellville and work in Bulls Gap. I eat at Yoders for lunch a couple of times a week. I love it!

You were in my area! I'm in Dandridge, right across from Baneberry. The hot air balloon festival moved from White Pine to Jefferson City about 2 years ago. We love Yoders! We get sandwiches there in the fall on the way home from cross country races. I've never tried their hand pies so I'll have to add that to my next trip! Thanks for the trip.

I have lived in Morristown for 20 years. Yoders is definitely a must go to place. I was so excited to hear the stories you told about some of our areas museums. I had no idea the history you revealed. I'll never see those buildings the same. You didn't show Dandridge near Baneberry. Home of Martha Washington's family. Jonesbourgh just above Greeneville is the oldest city in Tennessee. You hit the mother load of history in our area!

Oh my gosh! My mouth is just watering looking at you eating those wonderful looking sandwiches from the Amish bakery. I could be so tempted just to make a special trip to go down there and load up all kinds of good looking food! Those small pies, what can I say, they looked absolutely divine. I used to like the Little Debbie’s fruit pies but by the looks of those one there’s just no comparison!

As you went through Bulls Gap you were very close to historic Rogersville. Next time your over this way, call me ahead of time and I'll treat you both to a meal at Red Dog on Main. On Main Street you will also be able to see the original hotel where Andrew Johnson stayed. Yep, the original, not a replica. Across the street from it another historical building, stagecoach stop from the era. Close by, the graves of Davey Crockett's grandparents who were massacred by Indians very close by. Very, very good video!

I love White Pine books! Morristown isn't a metropolis or anything, but it's growing rapidly. I'm there a couple of times a week to shop, eat, or go to the public library. I live about five minutes from Yoder's; my niece and nephew grew up on those sandwiches. If you haven't visited Greeneville, you should; there's a lot of good history there. And eat at my favorite place: the Phat Cat! 😊

I LOVE Amish food. I went to that Yoders store a couple years ago & bought a ton of things. I got there about 15 minutes before they closed so I had to rush through the store buying as much as I could quickly LOL. I did try a deli sandwich which was DELICIOUS. But sadly a few of the items weren't as good as I thought they would be. I got some cottage cheese thinking it would be really creamy, but it was very dry & didn't have much of a taste. I prefer the Amish store in Ohio, but since I was nowhere near Ohio that year I went here instead. I also tried some of their cream sodas...not the best tasting, but not all bad either.

Oh I wish I knew you were coming! I'm just a few minutes down the road from Yoders. Morristown has to coolest indoor antique mall/flea market that is open daily. There's also Elrod Falls nearby. Bulls Gap is interesting, Greenville is a day in itself.
