I remember finding out about the Josh Heupel hire years ago & was thinking "Josh Who??? He's gonna be another Derek Dooley or some coach not ready for the Vols standards & expectations!" Man .... Am I ever so glad I was wrong! Heupel is an offensive genius & hires excellent defensive coaches!! So grateful to have him leading us. He is definitely one of the top tier coaches in the country! Go Vols

Coach Heupel brings in quality young men who are highly recruited all across the country because he's GENUINE. Doesn't hurt he's a Great HC!! You can see how these young players develop in his system, and that's the key to success!!! GBO🍊

Joe has improved, what I saw was receivers not catching the ball. Yes he over threw a couple but what about the drops that hit them in the hands?

Joe’s gonna be fine I think. Most important thing after his early mistakes is he rebounded well, regained his composure and led us to victory. I think a lot of those and amongst the other offensive players were early season jitters. I’d much rather the guys make mistakes early in the season now before we get into the heart of that tough conference schedule come late September-early October. My biggest surprise was the defense. They absolutely dominated in this game. Granted it’s Virginia, but if they can play lights out like that all season, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with. GBO! 🍊🍊🍊

Looks similar to last year’s team. I really liked the coaching job. Lots of new players, younger players are coming strong. Uncharacteristic flub here and there, but what the heck, it’s football. Offensive line play looked pretty good to me. If it gets much better the Vols may be unbeatable.

I saw exactly what I expected. A much improved defense, some good receivers and running backs, an average O-line and QB.That is who we are this year. 8-4 or 9-3 season if we have no major injuries.

They know it’s an issue and continue to ignore it. It’s really aggravating.
