The 1.35 Million paid to Kent State was NOT paid by the School. These funds were paid from the private boosters. There is no doubt that a lot of hard working people thought they were donating money to enrich People who could not find means of an education, enhance facilities and to improve the quality of the University of their choice. These Citizens certainly did not intend for the funds to be wasted on a ballgame for a warm up game. A true Waste of Private to Public Resources that would normally be call squandered....at best....
