Potential offensive coordinator/ head coach candidate for Tennessee: Phil Longo. He would be a fantastic head coach or Offensive Coordinator candidate at Tennessee. Most SEC Schools like to have someone who already has ties to the SEC before getting hired (for recruiting). And what do you know, Phil Longo was previously the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Ole Miss. he led UNC to the #5 ranked offense in the country last year. That team was averaging 41.5ppg, 10.1 yards per pass attempt, 301.4 ypg, and 235.8 rushing ypg.

I know it probably won't happen but I think that Matt Campbell would be a good hire for them if it happens. I also be hearing people mention Tom Herman, which I think would be a decent hire for them. Not too many big name options out there at this point.

Campbell is a fantastic coach who is not suited to southern cfb cauldrons like Knoxville. He'd instantly have a lot of hillfolk against him because "he's a yankee", and "Big 12 is the bush leagues, he ain't beat no one", and "he cain't recruit". If he's a Danny White-led hire, he'd probably have some influential boosters against him from the start, too.
