Tennessee NEEDS RECEIVERS...PERIOD!!! Also, without Sampson, there is no Tennessee. The defensive backs will get better - they are young. The defense has saved us all year. OSU just had better talent and a great scheme. You can't keep your defense on the field all night and think they will hold up.

That’s because Ohio state had a bad game against Michigan on offense not defense …we tried to run heavy when clearly we are a throwing team and it showed !!!! Our defense is #1 for a reason we only allowed 13 points against michigan . We also missed 2 field goals that would have won that game and we didn’t play to our strengths …..Tennessee tried to run the ball we dominated them up front and all game with our #1 defense .

Tennessee has the #7 (and top 5 in many categories) ranked defense and just went up against an impossible task to stop NFL level wide receivers. Tennessee's O-Line and offensive play-calls weren't up to the task and was the major difference in the game.

Without Sampson their should have been a creative gameplan with P.lew to reduce the pressure on Nico just look at Penn State and what they do with that TE just an example running a damn speed option on 3rd and 7 when we barely ran that all year was ridiculous this game showed Samp carried this team and without him we probably wouldn't have made a bowl game this year

Neither of them called.a good gameplan. I don't think they have the big game mindset. Both were outcoached to the max. But also one thing that stood out is that 20mil $ roster showed up and they look like 20mil. The team needs to make the investment in the roster and also upgrade these two coaches.
