My fishing this past summer was mainly lake and pond. Caught about eight nice bass at a pond, but nothing at the lake. The other pond belongs to my uncle and I can go there by myself, which is what I did when my son couldn't go with me. He has mostly catfish and carp, but still fun. It's too cold now, so I guess I'm done for this year. I will just have to sit back and watch your videos.

I've been enjoying your videos for a long time and I am very curious about whether or not you have native brook trout in that part of Tennessee. Thanks for the great content!
@user-bn3zo3mh5v4 жыл бұрын
There are some brook trout in John's area up in the mountains of Tellico. That's about a 40 mile ride for him. Only place I have ever heard of anyone catching them, but I know there are others further up east and northeast in the small mountain streams of Sevier Co and on up towards Bristol.

John, have you ever thought about getting an RV or travel trailer and do more travel fishing videos? I'm like you. I love to fish but I also love to travel and camp. I'm getting too old for camping and sleeping on the ground. The closest thing I have is a Kamp Rite cot/tent. I actually really like it. It has been great in cooler weather but this last summer I was dying. Anyway, I hope you consider more travel videos even if you don't get an RV. I also like high quality local motels. 👍

For winter, it's best to reel in slower than in the summer. Also, the best times to go fish in winter are after a few warm days, since the water takes longer to heat up. Midday is usually the warmest and fish hit the most then
