@@loverofhumanity The jury is still out on Pickett in my opinion. I think Canada is part of the problem as the OC and the rest is I think Pickett over thinks early in games trying to be perfect. Not saying Pickett is going to become an all time great but I also don't think it is time to give up on him. We won't be high enough in the draft to get anyone better and there isn't an option on the free agent market that makes sense. What I would like to see them do is drop Canada and pick up McDaniels as the OC. I was really high on Levis during the draft. Never thought he would drop that far. Kinda wanted the Steelers to take him with the second pick. This kid should have gone before Richardson for sure. He looks really special on a bad team. Still think Pickett is better than what he showed tonight, the ribs are bothering him more than we think. But he definitely shows out when the game is on the line.

We dodged a bullet on this one. Lucky to come away with a win. I’m also tired of announcers and play by play folks talking about this great steeler defense as though it’s 1979. Yes without them we would be a complete disaster, but in terms of yards allowed per game, and points allowed it’s unimpressive. Yards allowed 2nd worst in the league. Points allowed we are middle of the pack. I’ve not looked to see if there are positive trends unfolding in the data week over week. Pickett seems to have clutch skills in his blood which is very positive and jaylen is a stud.

The Steelers RB core of Warren & Harris reminds me of Blount & Bell. That duality in the back field can be scary, but Harris has to find ways to run it down the middle more efficiently.

Levis drove the ball down the field in that last drive under immense pressure, but unfortunately threw an interception at the end. Him being able to get his team in position to score late, with the game in the line, is a good sign for a young QB though and there’s no doubt the man throws a real nice ball.
