Hopefully CJH will not let his pride get in the way and make the correct moves to improve the offense. Let's hope he can fix and see the problems whether that is coaching or talent upgrade. If we want to take the next step CJH might have to make some tough calls with his coaching staff. And I agree with you a 💯 on Coach Banks. Great job as always Frank! GBO 🍊

Something has to change with the offense. The philosophy they've used the last two years against good teams will yield some success, but also aggravation. Against the good teams, it became a bland offense. I want to see motion, quick slants, screens, etc. I don't need to see the sideline comeback route ever again.

I heard that the notre Dame Lineman started but got yanked into the season for not performing. How do you feel about that?

Notre Dame fan and thats not really what happened. He was starting, but then our other guard who is our best guard got hurt for a month. The backup that Pendleton beat out to start the year filled in for the other injured guard and outplayed Pendleton. It's not that Pendleton was necessarily playing bad but when our best OG came back he was going back in the lineup for sure leaving only 1 spot and we decided to go with the other guy who was playing slightly better. So he did get jumped on depth chart but due to injuries and other guys stepping up and showing us something not because he was playing bad and we decided we had to make a change. Then late in the season he lost more reps because our preseason starting LT who was injured in camp finally came back. We started working him in at special teams where he stole some snaps from Pendleton then when one of our guards got hurt in playoffs we put him in at guard instead of Pendleton. Thats not really a knock on Pendleton as this guy supposed to be a future 1st round pick.

They have got to develop who they recruit at some point. It looks as if Satterwhite and Sanders will both have a good shot to start. That will be the first two OL recruits under Elarbee to make an impact.

Back in the day, Munzo was an Offensive Tackle of an NFL great. All hyped up and finally our Coaches stopped giving his 1st Team snaps because he was not SEC Competitive. I want to play younger players that are good and deserve their snaps. Giving it to David Sanders because of Hype kills moral. Butch Jones wanted Hurd to be the back and he stopped Alvin Kamara from starring. The only Coach that could stop Kamara, when Kamara got to the Saints he showed the world his greatness. I want Sanders to be the guy but I ain't giving him anything he don't earn with the pads on.

I didn't think about Miami. My guess was Oregon, but Miami makes a lot of sense. If Tate enters, I really hope Tennessee gets aggressive and makes it happen.

@@TheHouseofOrangeTN all are good players but they are all boxed out on depth chart. Like you said in vieo injuries really shook up or lineup this year. Jagesah was supposed to be our preseason start LT and Craig our preseason starting C. So our center (Coogan) who started all the games this yea will be 2nd string next year when Craig come back. Jagesah coming back at LT means Knapp the true freshman who we started at LT all season will be pushed to guard. This is why our starting RG (Spindler) is transferring. Coogan and Spindler are seniors so they only got 1 year of eligibility left and no reason to spend it as backup. As for Pendleton, Craig coming back and Knapp going to guard box him out at both of his main positions. Our LG and RT coming back. Pendleton is good player though, this is good pickup for you guys as is whoever gets Coogan and Spindler our other two oline transferring they will be good pickups for whoever gets them. They all have proven experience at this point.

@cbanklit I don't subscribe to the theory of "battered vol syndrome". I call it like I see it. If you truly feel you watched a top 20 offense this year then you and I obviously didn't watch the same team. I don't consider running it up on Chattanooga, Kent State, and UTEP to be what I'm exactly looking for. If not for those games, this offense isn't top 50.
