Also, conference championship game losers. Sorry, you should not get to host if you lose a championship game. Not when you already have two losses going in. Sorry but should UGA lose the SECCG, I think you could be in the playoffs but nope, should not be ranked about TN if you lose that game. There is always some risk and reward for playing in a SECCG. The reward is the chance to win that game and get a bye. Let your own record wins and losses as well as resume determine if you should still be in after the loss. But in TN vs UGA's case, your telling me you don't drop UGA any more than two spots with a loss in the SECCG? Really? lol OKay, that to me is total BS. 3 losses is 3 losses in this situation. If you allowed UGA to host after a loss in the SECCG, than the ACC and Big have a huge case for unfairness. Where does that end? It's not fair to teams who had the same record, like TN as UGA. The championship games making it there shouldn't be a prize worth more than just getting to the playoff than a team with fewer losses or the same record as UGA at the end of the regular season. Maybe that's a different story if there was only a 4 team playoff, but not with 12.

Well, so UGA got beat by Ole MIss, on the road, they dropped 8 spots. OSU loses at home to an unranked bad UM team, they drop only 4 spaces! lol. Ok, almost every other team that lost all dropped 5 spots or more, but oh no, not OSU, they dropped them 4 spots and still ahead of TN..This was intentional bias. I feel like we could beat anybody but I would not be shocked if they try and pit SEC against SEC in that first round to try and get a Big vs anyone else but an SEC for the semifinals. The UM loss at home for OSU is worth two losses imo. Your a 23 point favorite at home and you score ten total points? We've only ever played OSU once in 96, TN won that game and neither team ever played the other at their home field. I think we're in a good bracket. Oregon are a bunch of frauds imo. How do you struggle with Idaho and some of teams they have. There is no one on our side of the bracket that could give us a run like UGA and Bama in the other bracket. Imo, this is a good thing. But it's bias. TN should be hosting OSU, Oregon and PSU have very thin resumes and imo, are only mid SEC good.

If you get rewarded for a conference championship why should you not fall in the rankings if you lose. If the game doesn't matter then why play championship games? I keep hearing the argument it shouldn't punish you, but when besides TCU losing in the championship game has a team not dropped? And we saw how well that worked out.

Texas should beat Georgia. Texas has improved since Georgia game in Texas and Georgia has gotten worse. If Georgia plays Texas like they played Georgia tech then they will be blown out by texas. I think you're discounting the USCe win at Clemson. Not saying that guarantees them a spot in the field, but the Clemson was a quality recent win on the road against another team that's in the field. I'd love to see the 8/9 in Knoxville, but I think they'll see the OSU wins as better that the Vols' wins.

Something makes me believe they will want that game in Columbus. I hope I am wrong, but I bet they will do that. Can't back it up, just my guess. Do we know the background on the CFP Committee? Great show. So tired of hearing how Carolina belongs in playoffs. They lost 3 games. Bearly beat ODU. They have had a good year but the whole season counts. You cant pick out 6 games and say we are worthy. No 3 loss team should be in . No matter the schedule or name. 3 losses and your done period.

The reason Vols should pass Ohio State is because everyone told us Vol fans that WHEN you lose matters. We fell 6 spots losing to Georgia in athens. How can Ohio State only drop 5 spots losing to Michigan at home? WHEN you lose matters, remember? Or do we change the rules again? Our Arkansas loss is as ancient history as ND's NIU loss. We dominate Arkansas if we play again today with a more experienced Nico and ND dominates NIU today.

The committee also needs to take into account when a loss happened and where. Tennessee's best loss was recently recently to UGA but it was on the road. Our worse loss was early in the season on the road. OSU worse loss was literally the last game of their season against a terrible opponent at home. They should be more penalized than Tennessee imo
