Tennessee and Florida played in the Southeast Regional Championship in the 2023 Little League World Series. This was an elimination game, with the winner advancing to Williamsport.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, MLB), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
The best part of my work as a KZbinr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other KZbinrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Orlando native here...we haven't made the LLWS since 2005 (when I was in LL), so it was super exciting watching these kids play. Unfortunately there were some errors made and Tennessee went damn near flawless. Hats off to them and better luck for us Floridians next time!

it's like the jumps have never seen breaking balls until they get in the regionals, lot of bad umpires at this level unfortunately

@andrewmeadors6381 11 ай бұрын
This happens pretty regularly at that age level across all leagues (little league, usssa, etc.). Not saying I agree with it, but with kids at that age accuracy is not the best so the game would be prolonged. Also, most of the umpires are volunteering their time to do this so you are not getting pros back there unfortunately.

Travesty of the game. If umpire is going to lean on his knees and watch sure you can push the runner off the bag. Whether it took 30 seconds or 30 minutes it was apparent he was just going to watch for who knows how long.Its called Bush league. A real umpire of a children's baseball game sees the situation for the Travesty and immediately calls time.Thats. real baseball. Little Lge who knows. Rule maybe watch till the tussle is over ?

I used to Coach a USSSA 14 Under back in early 2000's. And we represented Illinois. Specifically a Southern Illinois team. I have to say, the toughest competition came from kids who played down in the Southern States. Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Carolina Teams, Florida, Texas. So, I love watching this type of tournament because you are watching some of the BEST teams in The United States go at it.

The bats they use seem so flimsy and just like a twig. You can see they’re hitting balls well and they’re just not traveling. I remember when they went down to -10 and then -12 and the bats were never as strong after that. Why they need to be so light I won’t understand. I wasn’t big or strong and had no problems swinging a -8 or -9
@celica49
@celica49 11 ай бұрын
I think part of it is that they are making the bats a little less hot to avoid injuries. Having a 12 year old 40 feet away after his pitch stride with a ball coming back up the middle at 70mph is a recipe for disaster.

What's up with these highlights? It's was 1-1, then all the sudden it's 4-1? Didn't see highlights of how it got there, but saw highlights of a foul ball.

Why doesn't the team from the losers bracket have to beat the team from the winners bracket twice? Every team got 2 chances except Florida. For staying in the winners bracket(undeafeated), their reward is their chance to go to the LLWS comes down to one game, when, again, every other team got to lose 1 game and stay in the tournament but Florida loses one game and they are out? I don't understand it.....

So funny watching little leaguers trying to frame pitches. That ball was 2 feet off the plate kid, you can throw that ball right back to the pitcher. No need to freeze it waiting for a strike call

Tennessee pitcher #1 balked at least twice...he never came set when trying that lame little "quick pitch", and the umpires should have called it. Unfortunately, Florida used their ace pitcher Fouse the entire previous game...they should have pulled him out of that one so he could contribute on the mound vs. TN.

i feel like most games tennessee won, they got bailed out by bad calls or by the other team doing something unbelievably stupid. they don’t feel like they ever have a convincing win, maybe that’ll change but they’re lucky this isn’t like the college world series or they’d have to beat florida twice, something they weren’t gonna be able to do
