The Tennessee Waltz is the only song that I know of that references itself. In the first line it says I was dancing with my darling to the Tennessee Waltz. Does any other song do that?

That’s a great point! I’m sure there are others, but I can’t think of any off hand. The original Tennessee Waltz was actually just an instrumental tune, & the song most people know nowadays is one that was based on that tune, with lyrics added.
