I was looking for something for a potluck at work...needed a crockpot recipe because I don't have a stove or anything at work, and don't want it to get cold. Stumbled on this recipe, it's fire! I tried it on my family before the work event so no one says, "who cooked this??" at work. Went over well!! Thank you!!! I think the pot luck is going to go great now!! Will probably be my go to... I got to tell you--I made an addition--when it got all heated and was ready to go, I made a batch of cornbread batter and poured it over the top--left it in the crock pot for another half hour, the cornbreak cooked a great crust over the top. You can either dip it out with the corn and corn bread seperate, or cut up the corn bread and mix it in. My family got the "no jalepeno" version because they're kind of weak to...lol...but my workmates are getting the 4 alarm version...
