Don't know if you know Serbian. Swearing at himself, tennis, all of them combined, the whole world...but firstly at himself. Umpire just wanted to make it about himself, so he can punish him. He would know if Djokovic was swearing at him, and really meant it. Serbs are just swearing at everything, when frustrated. It's like a catchphrase, means nothing but blowing out some steam. Like yelling swear words into a hole. Like "oh, fuk off" to everything, just much more juicy. Probably scandalous to others, when translated(if one doesn't know, it really sounds awful) , but it means nothing, and it's nothing personal. Many of these videos were being played before Hawkeyes was being implemented, which is used to show if the ball is in or out. Unfortunately, it is not very accurate on clay so it cannot be used.
@Detz03255 жыл бұрын
unfortunately back in the day, they didn't think to invent something like hawkeye to replay whether a ball was really in or out. Everything was based on eye sight, which is extremely flawed and so very controversial calls were known to happen. Honestly, I feel like it should get to the point for this kind of technology where every winning point is tracked and the results should be almost instantaneous. This would completely throw out all unruly calls, they should not even have people still call ins and outs but if a call is incorrect the umpire will see it on his screen and can adjust the point accordingly. Because then you will have people calling incorrect outs and the receiving player will stop the point and then they will just be forced to take the lose. If a ball was hit out the umpire will see it on his screen and he can be the one to stop the rally and point out the ball was hit out of bounds. The way it is now, players have to risk using up all their challenges when a more critical point called incorrectly near the end of the match could have won them the whole tournament.
