I just want to thank you for giving all this very usefull information here on youtube . I tried this tip on my backhand slice and after 5 min using this hitting the wall I now hit the best slices of my life..Always had a good low slice but on a higher ball I lacked power and made also a lot of mistakes... Guys listen to this guy and just go hit the court and be amazed ..

My son is left handed and we enjoyed your explanation of the wrist myth in forehands and how you deconstructed it for a left- hander also. It makes it so much easier when pros demonstrate in left handed fashion also. Your videos are good.

Hello, Rick ! So much misinformation on YT, it's scary. For almost every little myth you've busted there's a coach out there that advocates the exact wrong move. You have a very clear and eloquent way of explaining these things, with the right arguments as well. Thanks a lot for doing these videos, they really help. Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more ! Take care, sir, and best of luck to you ! PS Where are these courts ? Love the snowy mountains in the background.

Thanks. Not sure how much is the wrist or forearm rotating into contact. I find if I set the racquet w/ strings facing the net, I somehow seems to end up in the right position... otherwise as you say the ball would pop up very high!

i have trouble with my backhand volley could this technique work?
@insighttennis44878 жыл бұрын
farojaco....thank you for your message...mastering this technique will help your volley tremendously...in fact the backhand volley should almost be a shorter version of the slice....i have attached a video clip on the forehand and backhand volley to illustrate what i mean...hope this helps....best ....Rick........kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4q7i4BvmJyXeLs

Ask yourself: why am I on the court with this presentation? Wouldn’t the reason be to make it clear how your body is oriented in relation to the ball/court? You keep changing the imaginary shot’s direction making it unclear what the shot technique should be.
