I like this routine I'm going to bookmark it! I do some similar type of exercises, but also incorporate bands. I've been doing quite a bit of shadow swinging my serve the past few months, trying to get a bit more knee bend, lean back some as I toss the ball, and get a bit more twist in my torso, and keep my arm really loose. We'll see if it translates on the court when I get back out. I've also been trying to build my grip strength. Pretty cool that you can do regular pushups like that Marisa. Push up story: back when I was a young lad, in my early 50's (LOL), I was probably in my all time peak condition. I was at a fitness center and one of the instructors, probably in her 20's I would say, and I were talking about push ups. She said she could do more standard style pushups than most men. I was joking with her and told her I'd do a pushup contest. Unfortunately for me, she called my bluff and said "you're on!". Well, a crowd of people gathered around. She said "you go first, they have to be in perfect form". So, I started pumping them out, straight back, full extension up and down, touching my chest to the floor each rep. Along about the high 40's my arms started to burn, but pride and adrenaline kicked in and I managed to force out 54 reps, probably a personal best. I struggled to get up, then proudly said "OK, see if you can beat that!". She proceded to whip out 55 pushups in perfect form as the crowd went wild cheering her on. She jumped up and said "I could do more, but don't want to embarass you". Boy was I put in my place!

Haha wow that’s a cool story! And thanks you, I’ve definitely been practicing my form and I feel like I can do about 20 comfortably but I don’t think I get my chest to the floor each time 🤫 and I’m glad this video could help 🤗

What is the hardest muscle or muscle group for you to activate when serving? My personal one is the glutes but as far as upper body goes it woulf be the core!
