@CGcarmineCG2 жыл бұрын
One of the few times Fognini is right and Bedene still complained. The umpire checked the mark and said the ball was out. Why Bedene complained with Fognini? The umpire, which is neutral, called the ball out. He should have complained with the umpire, but at the end it was clear he was mad with Fognini for other matches and this is a weakness of Bedene. If you cannot play with a clear mind, and go on court with all the backlog in your mind that will affect your play, you'll always lose.

It's absurd that tennis still has so many subjective and capricious rules/calls that don't allow the player any sort of immediate appeal relief. The chair can call several in balls out, but if there is no hawkeye, no appeal. If coach blinks incorrectly, the player gets a sanction. When a player breaks a racquet, why is it sometimes racquet abuse, and other times unsportsmanlike conduct? Does the bathroom/heat-rule break start immediately or when you get to the bathroom? Why does the server get to exhaust the serve clock, but the returner does not. If the server gets 2 warnings, he loses a first serve. What's the sanction the returner gets for two not ready to receive warnings? If I'm not hindered by something my opponent does, why does the chair get to stop play and tell me I was hindered? On the flip side, if I say I was hindered by something the opponent did and stopped play, but the ump didn't witness it, why do I lose the point, even if technology can provide I was right?
@piper9988772 жыл бұрын
Since this happened this week to Ruud, clothes changing seems to be wrapped into the bathroom rule inexplicably, so if you only change clothes, but don't take a dump or wee, you get a code violation and fine for unsportsmanlike conduct. Casper sweats heavily, and last summer his soggy white shorts became so transparent that I felt I owed him an OnlyFans fee.
