Mate as you said life is much more than tennis. And what you are doing with these videos is so powerful. From sharing emotions, showing the pro life routines, inspiring and motivating us tennis players in the community to be the best version of ourselves on and off court. I really felt your pain in losing that match (it happened to me yesterday at the super tie) but rest assured that you are winning people's hearts!.

Not trying to hate or anything, appreciate what you’re doing and wish the best of luck to you. But to me it is clear that you need to find significantly more depth in order to be more neutral or in an aggressive stance against your opponents (where you do play quite well at the net) especially on the backhands where your balls aren’t traveling through the court. I understand the comments in the heat of the moment but when you take closer attention to this it wasn’t nearly as clear that you’re the better player. Another thing I noticed a few times and to me seems more like a footwork / fitness issue is that on multiple shots you’re not adjusting well enough to hit your forehands and end up being too close to the ball, limiting the amount of damage you’re making. Do sincerely appreciate your content and efforts, and hope you make it out there!

Either way, I am just pointing out some simple things that he probably already knows and could be helpful.

@@FelipeSantos-wt1mm Felix just need to change racket, the CX 200 isn't doing for him, 80% of shots land at the half of the court, this kind of racket needs more power, maybe he should try the SX300 or Fx500 Dunlopwise speaking haha, I understand he is a great going forward player, great volleys (love it) and double players CX is great for that kind of tennis, but he needs every inch of a racket to get depth in the shot.

@@Bonnejamon This is being posted on a public forum, which means public will comment. If there was no desire for commentary, its easy for creators to switch comments off. The fact he didnt do that, what does that tell you? Separately, I think anyone CAN comment; not everyone should, and I do agree being respectful is important. If this was easy, everyone would do it. Lets not forget, it takes YEARS to become a good player. Even the most basic level of respect should be provided, and especially when someone is providing insights like this. Felix could just as easily have not provided content here, and no one would know anything. Instead, we get to see an inside view about things. I think this is great content, and much appreciated (from me, at least). That said, yes, public commentators can say things. If we think something was good, we say it was good. If we think something was bad, we say it was bad. This is more useful than simply trying to find a positive in everything, otherwise, how would improvements be made? Feedback? Well, Felix looked a bit tired at the end. I know it was a long match, but this is an aspect that, potentially, could have made a difference. Also, there were many short balls, into the wind. Would an equipment change help? We saw Maddy Keys win the AO after changing to Yonex, after literally YEARS with Wilson. And what about strategy? I've said this before, but maybe dropping in a short wide slice to the opponents backhand, and then either pass / lob, or use the followup shot to cause damage. This was Ash Barty's tactic against the biggest hitters in the WTA game, and even as someone who did NOT possess huge power herself, she was able to strategically defeat much bigger hitters. Hopefully this feedback (fitness, equipment, and strategy) isn't seen as "hating", but constructive feedback. Good luck Felix.

You've improved a loto on your mentality inside de court, you're calmer, seems like you're not trying to take the felt out of the ball anymore, got used to being consistent and understanding that the right moments will come, congratulations. Some piece of unrequested advice, sometimes, when you have shorter balls that give you more time, you're still going for big balls too much on your opponents reach instead of looking for less power but better angles. Felix, good effort, I’ve been through your stage and your next leg up can be defined by a few Key elements! 1) It needs to be life and death dude! If it’s not that important to you then you’ll never reach the top level. Grand slam feels awesome trust me! 2) You need to do something with every ball, even defence has to be specific! If you hit a mid court / middle ball the point will be over instantly against your next level of players! 3) How fit are you? You talk about playing for 2.5 hours and getting tired! Dude you need to be able to play 2 singles matches a day and even a doubles! 4) what are your strengths? They should be overtly obvious! Work on them and use them more of the time, I higher percentage of play. Weaknesses, You can’t have any at all, period.

Keep up the good work - you've definitely got what it takes to add some significant ATP points this year!
