@richietaylor9870
@richietaylor9870 7 ай бұрын
@@tqsuited The main thing that people know about her is that she has wildly fluctuating form, either plays lights-out brilliant or complete trash from one tournament/match to another. She’s possibly the most inconsistent top level player in the game! She’d easily be contesting majors all the time if she played the way she’s capable of playing all the time. As it is, she’s made a single slam semi final and two quarters in the nearly 7 years since winning the French Open. I can’t help but thinking her patchy form and her appalling temperament are related.

Well, some of the handshakes didn't seem that bad. Although the younger players now like Alcaraz and Sinner give a hug and have a little chat at the net, and their reaction is the same whether they win or lose, so I guess we've got used to seeing that. I saw a video recently where Alcaraz lost to Sinner, and in his interview at the end, he said some really nice things about him and wished him luck for the year. As we know, sporting events often foster a dynamic atmosphere, heavily influenced by the local crowd and cultural nuances. Tiafoe displayed some discourtesy towards Musetti by offering a brief and seemingly weak handshake. While it is important to acknowledge personal feelings and frustrations in such moments, it is equally vital to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor towards your opponent.

Ah I see. I always viewed Tiafoe as a nice person. But we all have our days.

Oh please. Tiafoe's an American. If anyone reaps the rewards of favouritism, it's him.

This video aptly demonstrates how much easier it is for women to get away with passive-agressive behavior. Their worst handshakes are shocking in comparison to the men's "worst". If a guy refuses to shake your hand after a hard-fought match, it will be dealt with in the locker room or parking lot. Embarrassing.
