My opinion on Kole’s part is that it’s not about changing his stage presence for the big stage that is the issue The point is how do we make the CAMERAWORK and LIGHTING integrate better with his deadpan execution? Right now it looks weird because camerawork is quite uninspired But if you try doing anything even remotely simple, like who knows, some sort of split screen with his face half in shadow and half in a coloured light, and alternate it in a way similar to Lake Malawi from 2019, then it suddenly becomes alluring and visually striking

I usually like Albania but this is actually the first time I've felt so excited for one of their entries in a while. There's something captivating and memorable about Zjerm. I hope it translates well in Eurovision and gives them a good result. I don't want to sound rude but I think they should keep the man as a background presence. Maybe have him only be on the LED rather than on stage, and act as almost like a narrator to the woman as she dances to his verse. I think that could be a cool visual.

Dissenting opinion here, but I kinda want them to keep his presence on the forefront. However, if they want to make it work I think they should take notes on how Grand Corps Malade delivers his verses, and one idea I have is that they should take inspiration on how the cinematography was made in the MV of "Derrière le brouillard".

At first I was very disappointed that Elvana didn’t win, but I think this is actually the better choice, because we will probably get a lot more songs that are similar to Karnaval. Zjerm on the other hand will probably stand out better.

valid argument, but as a person who plays deeper with production and is unbiased I have to say that Karnaval is more professional in all aspects. SloMo was also a generic song, but it worked because the performance was professional. This male part is total karaoke

I'm totally obsessed with this song from the first listen. I have some thoughts about the live performance though, edpecially Kolë's. I think his vocal part is on spot but needs some improvement. Sould be more impactful, more rhythmic, that's all. His voice is very nice with this deep vibe. As for his stage performance I think he might be in charge of visual effects, kind of conducting them with his stick, but more epically if you know what I mean. The Basel stage gives a lit of opportunity for this kind of performance.

I'm obsessed with this entry, it's sooo beautiful. This early on it's hard to tell how this will do in the contest, but I think it might be a little too out there?? I say this with love, but it's not an easy listen haha. I like Kolë's part songwise, but they really need to do more with him. He's anticlimatic on purpopse and I'm not sure if this kinda song structure works super well in Eurovision. For first time viewers his part might seem a bit random and weird.

If he’s meant to be anticlimactic on purpose, they need to make that more clear to the international audience with their final staging. Because the Albanian audience will understand that from the content of the lyrics, but the rest of Europe won’t.

see, the massive problem with the way the televoting accumulation works is that if youre not in the top 10 of a country's TV result you get ZERO points in the system, even if you barely got piped to 10th spot.. It is terrible ingiving the impression that NO ONE voted for an act.. Ulveham ran into a murder's row or brilliant entries at the top, resulting in the false impression of it not being popular.. it just wasnt popular ENOUGH. Another example of the murderers row: in many years Italy would have been top 3... the catchiest song of the entire 37 entries.

I like this song already, but actually, I think it has even higher potential than many people see right now. With a rewamp and an imaginative staging, I believe this song can become a dark horse of the competition. Even though I agree, it's still pretty early, but I can see Skodra Electronike placing top 10, if they nail every aspect of it. I have high hopes for Zjerm

I didn’t take their comment about a revamp to mean they had an actual plan to add another singer. I took it to mean, they won’t change it to English or do any other major changes. But they might add backing vocalists perhaps.

i couldnt refind it, but they did an interview on Albanian TV where they said they have asked a third person to come onto the song with them, and if they say yes, the song will have a revamp to fit them in

This is a big and welcome change to Albania’s Eurovision record. I really hope they don’t mess it up with a crappy revamp, but I really can’t see this even getting a revamp at all cause this is so unique! Definitely going to qualify, they do need to make the part with the guy a little less awkward (I do really like it songwise, but it just doesn’t work that well on the stage).

I really like this entry but the structure might be a bit too simplistic. I know the 2nd verse is a switch up but having an extended chorus that’s played twice and no real bridge/climax might hurt them a bit. Instrumental after the 1st chorus could probably be trimmed a bit to bring in something else

it was kind of 50-50, they just did the math in a really weird way, idk if they messed up or if this is what they intended so like instead of awarding 2 sets if 203 points proportionally based on vote share they gave the winner of each public vote 42 points (half of maximum possible jury score) and did the other scores based on that, so if you get half the amount of votes you get 21 points which, if this is what they intended to do, i would say is a very clever way of making the televote more balanced but i don't think they meant to do it this i think someone was just told to do the math 5 minutes before the results announcement and they had no idea what they were supposed to do

The song this reminds me of is Elitsa Todorova & Stoyan Yankulov doing Voda/Water for Bulgaria in 2007. I think this will do well, especially as Beatrice's voice is so conventionally melodic.

the part from kole really needs work. in every reaction i've seen so far people had mixed feelings about his spoken words. i also think his verses dont translate well on stage. i really hope they wont focus on his face in basel like they did here

I'm split on this. Overall this is one of Albanias stronger entries in recent years and the first part of the song is great, but as soon as -Albanian Serhat- the man starts singing it drags the song down. The vocals are just not there. It's like you're on a great rollercoaster ride and then hit a roadblock for the entire second verse.

Maybe they are considering replacing Kolë on stage with this collaborating artist. I get they are a band but she feels like the stand out on stage and I think he needs to be matching her energy. It feels too offputting atm. I really love the bass hits and the feel of the song. Hope Albania gets a really good result this year!

Albania should be a winner in the next couple of years but not with this song unfortuntely. I think I like it but this man should not be part of the singing. It almost reminds of the Germans during the 80's. ESC going retro? I don't think so.
