Tennis of the highest level from Zverev today, never seen him play this good
@ritwik57743 сағат бұрын
If not for Sinner, Zverev would easily be the most improved player year on year. This guy is finding his levels this season and competing toe to toe with Sinner and Alcaraz. He's in his physical prime and his game has shown remarkable all round growth. Made the RG finals this year, and you expect him to be competing for all the slams in 2025. If we exclude Djokovic, tennis has a new big 3. Finally some good competition for Sinner and Alcaraz outside of Djokovic.
@Mackay-z4r3 сағат бұрын
Zverev's primary challenge lies in his mentality during tight, high-pressure matches in Grand Slams against top-tier opponents. While he possesses the skill and game to compete at the highest level, he often falters at critical moments, struggling to close out matches.
@rosevillewoman20552 сағат бұрын

@@Mackay-z4r I think it's a combo of his Diabetes 1 and going to pushing in tight situations. Blood sugar levels might be harder to control in longer Bo5 matches.
@rosevillewoman20552 сағат бұрын
@@Mackay-z4rAs you can see in this match and the last match vs Ruud he is playing more confidently and did well in the tiebreaks. That will help him in the future to be better more successful in close matches to be mentally stronger. He greatly has improved his serve, forehand and net play this year. The mental side is also something he is working on. With much of the personal drama in the past being over and his injury being healed he will be able to be more focused and confident mentally.
