Hi Simon, thank you! Really pleased you like it. I use Ernie Ball Earthwood strings - medium light. I buy a set of the std 6 string ones but then take out the top E & the bottom E and use the rest. It's not wasteful (it could be!) but I have a friend who has a peruvian isntrument who takes the ones I don't use and some are sometimes used to make bracelets.
