I am most pleasently surprised.A tenor with a beautiful voice who can sing perfect "bel Canto" without one "nasal" sound that I find so annoying in other tenors. Bravo!!!

This is a lovely piece made sweeter by the fact that he is singing with his wife Ekaterina. Beautiful voices. I just saw Charles on Saturday in La Traviata. Trust me in four years he has matured greatly and that scooping you hear or note stepping was not present. Verdi is a demanding opera but more so for the Soprano however his vocals blew me away. His sensitivity to the role was moving. He did not just sing he felt Alfredo completely.
